Summer at Windy Hill Play

We’re excited to bring even more fun and learning this year, with a variety of enrichment activities and special programs. To ensure we’re fully prepared and can offer the best experience for all families, we kindly ask that you sign up as soon as possible. Proper planning will ensure everyone gets a chance to join in on the summer fun!

Families will continue to use the KangarooTime App to schedule sessions. To help us with planning and staffing, please schedule your child’s sessions for the entire summer in advance. Your early scheduling makes a big difference as we prepare for an amazing season ahead!

    Scheduling Heads-Up!

    The more advance notice you give us about when your kiddos will be joining us, the better! While we can't always guarantee last-minute spots, early scheduling helps us make sure we have enough awesome team members on hand so all our friends can jump in on the fun!

    Give us a shout about your summer plans as soon as you can. That way, we'll be all set with the right number of helping hands to make this summer amazing for everyone! If things change, just let us know—we get it, life happens!

    What to bring

    Alongside the usual items, please prepare for the following:

    1. Water bottle (labeled with name)

    2. Dry-fit clothing (strongly encouraged)

    3. Closed-toe shoes that can get wet

    4. Sunscreen & bug spray (pre-applied)

    5. Change of clothes in labeled bag

  • Village Builders (June 1-5)

    To kick off the summer, we are going to have fun exploring principles of building a strong village and being good stewards of our environments.

    Older friends will kick off the foundations for the summer. They will set community rules and start building strong foundations for the summer ahead.

    Jurassic Adventures (June 8-12)

    Journey back to the age of dinosaurs with fossil hunts, dinosaur-themed art, and prehistoric play that brings ancient creatures to life.

    Older friends will get to explore Hunter-Gatherer Society with a central theme of Sharing Resources.

    Music & Bubbles (June 15-17)

    Get grooving with rhythm-based activities while creating magical bubbles of all sizes for a sensory-rich week of creative expression.

    Older friends will get to explore Under the Sea with a central theme of Protecting Earth.

    Wild Wilderness (June 22-26)

    Explore the natural world through outdoor adventures, nature-based art, and wilderness skills that connect children with the environment.

    We will host a local organization that will bring creature guests for the kids to learn about various critters, offering hands-on educational experiences with wildlife.

    Older Friends will get to explore Animal Planet with a central theme of Natural Hierarchy.

    Summer Party! (June 29-July 3)

    Celebrate summer and Independence Day with patriotic activities, festive games, and colorful crafts.

    Older Friends will get to explore Out of this World with a central theme of Expecting the Unexpected!

    Shark Week (July 6-10)

    Dive into ocean adventures with shark-themed games, water activities, and marine exploration that makes a splash

    Older friends will get to explore Pirates and Mermaids with a central theme of Believing in the Fantastic.

    Sports Spectacular (July 13-17)

    Return to active fun with more athletic challenges, outdoor competitions, and team-building activities for energetic summer play.

    Older Friends will get to the Olympics with a central theme of Strong Habits.

    Jurassic Adventures (July 20-24)

    Embark on a Mesozoic expedition focused on the fascinating world of flying pterosaurs and marine dinosaurs.

    Older Friends will get to explore the Safari with a central theme of Respecting the Old & New.

    Continue outdoor exploration with more nature-based activities, wildlife adventures, and environmental discovery.

    Older friends will get to explore a Fairytale Forest with a central theme of Creating your own World.

    Summer Party (August 3-7)

    End the summer with a final celebration featuring favorite activities, festive games, and special events to mark the season's conclusion.

    Older friends will be attending Superhero Academy with a central theme of Heroes and Villians.
